Art should be an expression of the human soul. The reflection of an artist’s core - my core, my poetry brought to life. Feeding from emotions and feelings churning deep down in my gut, creative energy sneaks up at times gentle and poignant, other times loud and urgent. Exploding from inside, bright with joy, beauty and light or dark, with violence, viciousness, and rage. Always raw, always powerful, always thought provoking and passionate.
I am a local artist experimenting with mixed mediums in an elusive attempt to capture human emotions and feelings by splashing them onto a blank canvas. Inspired by fantasy, dreams, and imagination my dreamscapes evoke many varied opinions, thoughts, and questions. Each original piece, oil on canvas, photo manipulation, or combinations of mixed

media, reflects the triumph of a soul finding release through startling deep, vibrant color. Each image is filled with passion, raw and visceral, brought to life by the workings of a creative mind, heart, and hands.
Sometimes sad and brutal, with dark yearnings. Sometimes vibrant and light, filled with hope and longing. Often crushing with despair or filled with mystery and secret glimmers of magic, in every piece, even the most personal and painful, there is a golden thread of triumph. The triumph of a soul being set free.
Through my art, I offer you a glimpse into my depths, my dreams and emotions. Each piece is my offering to share with you a piece of myself and an invitation to experience the hidden poetry that resides within your soul.
